Seawitch

A rusty ship dumps water from two spouts
The M/V Seawitch, approximately 450 feet in length, had portions of its hull submerged, resting about 10 feet from the pier's edge. The upper half of the vessel was removed, leaving decking around submerged holds filled with water. Our operations plan comprised assessment and remediation phases.

Resolve Marine's remediation plan involved systematically refloating and cleaning the vessel. Over several months, we successfully refloated the Seawitch and thoroughly cleaned it to remove remaining contaminants. After refloating, the vessel needed secure mooring, which required deploying anchors affixed to its corners due to adverse weather conditions.

Once the vessel received certification for cleanliness, Resolve Marine personnel dismantled it at a local shipyard.
